Your Name Is The First
Thing They Hear And
The Last They Forget.

A name does more than identify — it positions. It communicates who you're for, what you stand for, and why you're different. A weak name forces you to work twice as hard to build recognition. A strong one starts working for you from day one. At Burraq, we develop names that are strategic, memorable, and built to last.

Strategy Before Creativity

We research your market, your competitors, and your audience before generating a single name candidate. The best names aren't random — they're positioned. We make sure yours occupies a clear space in your market.

What You Get

What's Inside Every Naming Project

A name from Burraq is not a brainstorm list. It's a strategic output — each candidate researched, tested, and justified before it reaches you.

Market & Competitor Research

We map what names already exist in your category — what linguistic patterns, tones, and structures are common. Then we develop names that stand apart, not ones that accidentally echo a competitor.

5+ Name Concepts

Five or more distinct name directions — not variations of the same idea. Each direction explored across different naming strategies: descriptive, abstract, coined, metaphorical, and founder-based.

Domain & Availability Check

Every name candidate is checked for domain availability (.com priority), basic trademark conflicts, and social media handle availability — before it's presented to you. No names that look good but are already taken.

Naming Rationale & Tagline

Every name delivered with a written rationale — what it communicates, why it positions your brand clearly, and how it will be received. Plus tagline development for your chosen name.

Why It Matters

A Bad Name Is A Tax You Pay
Every Day For The Life Of Your Business.

A hard-to-spell name costs you every time someone tries to find you online. A name that sounds like a competitor confuses the market — and hands them your recognition. A generic name forces you to spend more on marketing just to be remembered. The right name compounds in value over time. The wrong one is a constant drag on your brand.

Easy to spell, say, and remember — across languages and markets

Domain-available — your name and your web address match

Positioned clearly — no accidental overlap with competitor names

Scalable — a name that still works as you grow, expand, or pivot

Client Stories

What Clients Say

We let the work — and the clients — speak.

"I came in with a name I thought I liked. Burraq ran competitor research and showed me three businesses in my exact category using the same word. They came back with five directions I hadn't considered — each with a clear rationale. The name we chose has been one of the best decisions I made in the early days."

ZI

Zara I.

Startup Founder, Lahore

"Domain available, social handles clear, no trademark conflicts — and a name that actually communicates what we do without being generic. Burraq handled the research so we didn't have to find out the hard way six months later that our first choice was already taken."

FN

Faisal N.

Retail Brand, Karachi

"We were expanding into the UAE market and needed a name that worked across both Urdu and English-speaking audiences without losing meaning. Burraq understood the brief immediately and delivered options that worked in both contexts. The name we launched with has been recognised as a strong brand choice by every client we've onboarded."

FAQ

Questions Worth Asking

Typically 7–10 days from discovery conversation to first name concepts. Day one is the brief and market research. Days two through five are name development and availability checks. Days six through ten are presentation, feedback, and refinement. We don't rush the research — that's what makes the names defensible.

We go back to the brief. Because every concept is presented with a written rationale, feedback is specific — you can tell us exactly what direction isn't working and why. We use that to generate a new set of candidates. We iterate until we land on a name you're genuinely excited to build a business under.

We conduct basic trademark screening as part of the availability check — flagging obvious conflicts before presenting names. However, we are not lawyers and cannot provide a formal trademark clearance opinion. For businesses planning international expansion or operating in highly regulated industries, we strongly recommend a formal trademark search with a qualified attorney before committing to a name.
